Intensive Moscow's Assaults Eliminate Electricity Across Kyiv

Power facilities targeted in the region
The country's energy systems have faced increased strikes in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were hurt while local people in eastern neighborhoods were experienced blackouts and encountered problems to water systems, as stated by city officials.

Meanwhile, a young boy was killed in a separate aerial attack in the southeastern region in the country's south-east, as reported by regional authorities.

Russian forces has increased attacks on power infrastructure over the last fortnight, while the country's government has called for "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not superficial actions but strong steps - from the US, the EU and the major economies - in supplying protection systems and implementing restrictions," was stated in a social media post.

Authorities reported that numerous aerial vehicles and several dozen projectiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such attacks as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were laboring to restore power.

A wave of strikes struck electrical systems and residential structures in the capital.

Multiple people wounded in the assaults on the city have been hospitalized, according to municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the city came under heavy assaults during nighttime hours. A seven-year-old child was killed and several individuals were hurt.

The attacks come after evenings of aerial attacks in the territory, sections of which are currently controlled by Russian forces.

The whole nation is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are harder to detect.

Government officials told journalists that Russia was deliberately attempting to demolish the country's energy grid, with attacks already disrupting fuel infrastructure.

He said energy workers and officials were anticipating further attacks.
